I swear people around me must be able to see my stomach move like a bag of popcorn. I'm pretty sure she's oriented with her head on my left side and her feet on my right, because I feel kicking most frequently on the right. But the weirdest sensation is when she moves her whole body, and then it looks like there's a colony of voles building a condo under my sweatshirt.
Have you experienced her having the hiccups, yet? It's the strangest feeling; especially as you get closer to your due date.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were finally able to feel some movement, it really freaked my fiance out. It freaked him out even more when you could see my stomach move, as you're describing. Charlie claimed I had an alien in my tummy. That always reminded me of the poor guy in the diner scene in Space Balls who had "the special". Luckily, Calvin isn't a singing alien with a top hat.
